Pavilion Reservations
Looking for a prime location for a picnic?  Van Buren Central Park has a lodge, 3 large pavilions and four small pavilions for private parties and company picnics!  

Reservations are accepted IN-PERSON ONLY (not by telephone, fax or mail) at the Parks and Recreation office, and payment of the RENTAL FEE must accompany reservation (payment accepted by cash or check).  Rental fees include exclusive use of the pavilion (or the lodge), maintenance costs, and cost of electricity (where applicable).  No pool fees are included!  

Reservation paperwork may be obtained at the Parks and Recreation office during business hours.

A $100.00 DAMAGE DEPOSIT (in the form of a check ONLY) is also charged per reservation, but is not accepted until two weeks prior to the actual reservation date.  We will send a postcard reminder when the deposit is payable.

Below is a listing and description of each facility available.  Click on the pavilion name to the left of the description to see a picture of the facility!
** NOTE - The fees listed under each facility pertain to parties numbering 149 patrons or less.  The rental fees INCREASE for parties numbering 150+ patrons!  Call the Parks and Recreation office during business hours for fee information for larger parties.

The LODGE is a completely enclosed building, seating 60-65. Within the building are restrooms, an area with ten (10) folding tables, 70 folding chairs, a fireplace (bring your own wood), electrical outlets, running water, and a stove and refrigerator in the kitchen area! Outside the building are nine (9) picnic tables and two (2) large BBQ grills. Caterers are welcome. The electric service in the Lodge is normal household current (110).
$115.00 weekends & holidays, $85.00 weekdays, and $135.00 for the Winter months, November 1-January 31st
 
The SMALL PAVILIONS “A”, “D”, “E” & “F” - are open-sided, roof-covered shelters. At each there are six (6) picnic tables (seating 36) and one (1) BBQ. Restroom facilities can be found at the bathhouse or Porta Johns. No running water or electricity is provided at these shelters. Pavilion “A” is on the Canton Street side of the park, and is smaller than the other three small pavilions. Caterers are not permitted at Pavilion “A”.
$30.00 weekends and holidays, $20.00 weekdays
Parking for Pavilion "A" is in the main parking lot (main entrance off Canton Street). All vehicles must be kept on paved areas. Driving or parking on the grass is not permitted!
PAVILION “B” is open on three sides. A minimum of 75 in group is required to rent this facility. At this shelter there are 18 picnic tables (seating 108), one large BBQ grill (45"X 51"), electricity, and running water. Caterers are welcome. The electric service at Pavilion B is normal household current ONLY. If more power is needed, groups/caterers should bring a generator. Restroom facilities can be found at the Van Buren Pool bathhouse (right next door).
$95.00 weekends & holidays, $55.00 weekdays
Patrons may pull up to the facility to load/unload supplies, but must return vehicles to the main parking lot once loaded/unloaded! Caterers may park a vehicle right next to the facility for the duration of the event. All vehicles must be kept on paved areas. Driving or parking on the grass is not permitted!
PAVILION “C” is an open sided, roof-covered shelter, with 12 picnic tables (seating 72). There is one large barbecue grill, electricity (normal 110 household current ONLY), and running water. Restroom facilities can be found at the Van Buren Pool bathhouse (right next door).
$85.00 weekends & holidays, $45.00 weekdays
Cars may be parked on the gravel area by this shelter, but once that area is full, parking is in the main lot. Driving or parking on the grass is not permitted!
PAVILION “D” is open sided, roof-covered shelter, with 12 picnic tables (seating 72). There is one large barbecue grill, electricity (normal 110 household current ONLY), and running water. Restroom facilities can be found at the Van Buren Pool bathhouse nearby.
$85.00 weekends & holidays, $45.00 weekdays

$40.00 weekends and holidays, $25.00 weekdays
