TOWN OF VAN BUREN
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Van Buren will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, New York, on the 5th day of November, 2008 at 7:35 pm to consider the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Van Buren pursuant to Section 108 of the New York Town Law.  A copy of the 2009 Preliminary Budget is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Van Buren, 7575 Van Buren Road, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  The proposed 2009 annual salaries of the members of the Van Buren Town Board, the Town Clerk, the Highway Superintendent, and the Town Supervisor are as follows:
Town Councilors (6)             $ 8,090.00
Town Clerk                      $ 42,399.00
Highway Superintendent  $ 53,502.00
and the Town Supervisor $ 30,000.00

All persons will be heard in favor or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled, for or against any item or items contained therein.
